What are the screen sizes of IMAX, cinema compared to home projectors?
i've been googling. are the following figures somewhat correct?
in feet:
IMAX screen size=65'x85' (107' diagonally)
AMC/Showcase screen size (largest auditorium)=27'x46' (53' diagonally)
my home front projected screen size=6'x7' (it's about 9', but i only do 7.5' diagonally)
in inches:
IMAX screen size=780"x1020" (1,284" diagonally)
AMC/Showcase screen size (largest auditorium)=324"x552" (636" diagonally)
my home front projected screen size=72"x84" (it's about 100", but i only do 90" diagonally)
to the edge of eternity and depth of infinity, stupidity knows no bound.
