Saw it last night. The theater was about 1/2 to 2/3rds full. It was being shown in 4 different theaters.

I loved the movie. The first few minutes were a bit confusing. The movie did not faulter after that. It did feel very long, and much longer then 2 hours. This is not a bad thing as I was entertained the entire time.

V for Vendetta is extactly how a 'big budget' movie should be. It was the right combination of action, plot, and social commentary. I would go to the movies more often if hollywood produced movies like this one. Hugo was great as 'V'. One of the better and more original movies I have seen in the last 2 or 3 years. I recommend it.

It is hard to give an exact rating without seeing it a second time. It is at least:
