I wonder how good the image quality of the XB360's DVD player will be compares to $200-300 standalone DVD players.

I've had a Panasonic RP56 for 3-4 years now, I'd hope that the chipset in the 360 would be of higher quality given the time passed.

I guess this would be more geared to HTPC as many people use ATI cards for their DVD decoders...I guess I'll have to wait and see.
