Hey y'all,

As many others surely are, I am glued to the news re: this horrible disaster. I have friends who have family down there and I am concerned. But I am a bit dismayed by the overdramatization on the major news channels. Now I know this is nothing new, but this tragedy is SO overwhelmingly dramatic that having a thumping techno track underneath "NEWS" reports to me seems very inapprorpriate.
I know there have been flashy graphics and sensational teasers for news programs for years, "Is the.....? Tune in at 11 to find out!" etc.... but this is different IMHO. Once the "news" program has started, just give us the news, music not necessary.

I am honestly wanting this NOT to become heated or politicized as it may well become. I am deliberately NOT mentioning any news channel. I am not singling out a network, just the business in general.
