PayPal doesn't charge a seller a transaction fee if they only use a personal account which doesn't accept credit card payments

Very true but Paypal don't go out of their way to tell you this. If you have a 'personal' account and someone sends you a CC payment, it doesn't get rejected but tries to coerce you into upgrading your account and getting walloped with the fee. I did it by ACCIDENT on my first PP account! The problem is then that ALL incoming transactions are subject to the same surcharge, whether a CC is used or not. I can accept the fee for CC payments, but not for others, it's just a ripoff.
