Reasonable set with DLP style black levels. Contrast too too high out of the box ... that it causes severe discoloration in the image.
Limited calibration potential ... from a pro stand point. Aside from simple grayscale, there is little else that can be tweaked here in the service menu.
It might have better blacks than a comparable LCD unit, but the LCD unit will have far better bright to dark transitions that do not have discoloration. The transition to LCD black is far more natural than on the TOshiba.
