It's possible you could get $800 for an older 4:3 HDTV w/ no warranty, but doubtful. Maybe see if you can find anyone interested before you comit to having it fixed and go from there. If not i'd chalk it up as a loss.

If you have a dedicated HT room and ligh control isn't an issue why not move the 56" DLP out and put a front projector in your HT room??
