I had to bail (again...my apologies), but I prefer the custom games as well. Simply because knowing everybody makes it more fun, and there is less pressure. I still think we should work in some Clan Matches, but I like keeping my Halo 2 experience stress-free. I don't even like worrying about my own rating

The learning curve is pretty steep. It'll feel much better in just a day or two.
And it is like crack. It takes me a while to doze off at night. Thinking about the games...
Anywho, to check the maps out, just play split-screen by yourself, give yourself at least five minutes, and walk around. It does help. I found out I had Foundation, and didn't know it. That's a meat-grinder map, btw.
Last night, I probably went overboard on teamwork...I wouldn't shut my damn mouth. Sorry. Just excited to be playing
I don't mind sucking as a team! Being good is all about playing the map enough, and knowing where the key weapons are. I didn't even get to kill Carlo last night
