Sony did start releasing some its seminal titles on hybrid SACDs. According to Stephen, the owner of
sa-cd.net, the following Sony titles have been released as hybrid SACDs....
Miles Davis: Kind of Blue
Toto: Toto IV
Destiny's Child: Survivor
Jeff Beck: Blow by Blow
And I will add to the list Dave Brubeck's "Time Out", which I purchased in Hong Kong this past June. However, it's possible that the royalties issue is keep these from being released in the US. The Beyonce multi-channel hybrid SACD, "Dangerouly In Love", was pulled from US release officially because of royalties.
Meat Loaf's "Bat Out of Hell", in either stereo or multi-channel version, is gone already.
