I'll be going to St. John in 11 days and have been going there during the winter on a regular basis for many years. An extremely beautiful and quiet little island. Whether you'd like it depends on what you're looking for. It's like a very small town in a gorgeous setting with a number of very nice open air restaurants, but not much in the way of exciting night life. Very low key. Relatively unspoiled, much nicer than St. Thomas, in my opinion (and much less crime), and still part of the U.S. which is nice. I absolutely love it there. Did you have any particular accomodations in mind?

I don't know much about the rest of the Caribbean as obviously there are many other beautiful islands to be found there. If you have any questions about St. John though, I'll be happy to answer them as best I can.
