That's how much power the voice coil can handle, not a mechanical limit. What are the specifics of the alignment, and at what frequency is the driver maxing out?

I guess the answer would be "yes" since, once at the maximum excursion of the driver...it ain't gonna get much louder.

What level is your design program showing when Xmax is hit? At what frequency is Xmax occuring?
