In Canada I can get a Live OEM for 50 dollars. A Soundblaster 128 PCI is 34 dollars. For the price difference, I'd buy the Live and get a few extras (like digital out) just because I can. But I supposee the 128 PCI will still get the job done, assuming you just use the standard analog line-out connector on the card.

Im actually out of digital connections on my receiver
but in the future I may(acutally that should be will just not anytime soon) upgrade my receiver so getting digital out is a bonus. I can get the 128 PCI for $24, the live for 48 and the audigy es for 59. Ive also got an old Aureal Vortex card that I could use for now and I can pick up one of the better cards later. I think I might wait and get the audigy, any thoughts on that one?
