Don't see much mentioned about Jim Croce or Dr Hook.

Both are among my favorites musicwise. I don't see many talking about them, and alot don't even know who they are. It's because of my mom and dad that I got into Jim Croce and Dr Hook.

I think Jim Croce was a great singer/songwriter, and could have reached greater heights if he hadn't of died. Operator, I Got a Name, Time in a Bottle, and New York's Not My Home are among my favorite songs.

I think Dr Hook was a great country rock and pop band. I've listened to them as long as I can remember. I even remember my mom and dad playing LP records of them when I was real little. My favorite Dr Hook songs are Sylvia's Mother, Queen of the Silver Dollar, A Couple More Years, Sharing the Night Together, Carry Me Carrie, and of course The Cover of the Rolling Stone.

So who else likes these guys?

My DVD Collection
I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the Devil's eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil! - Dr Sam Loomis(Halloween)

Damn you Mop N Glo! - Stewie (Family Guy)
