You pretty much made your decision Mike
. I much prefer Gamespots video reviews over IGN. I look forward to the Gamespotting articles every week as they are usually well written and insightful (unlike a great many IGN editorials like the roundtables that boil down to fanboyish arguments that look like they were written by 8 year olds). I love having access to all of the downloads on the GS page as well. I always know I have a goodplace to download any patches I may need that I am not able to find on Fileplanet or the like. The speeds are also fantastic. The one thing that I do enjoy on IGN over GS are the head to head videos. Very good content there.
GS also has one big advantage. Its something that irks me to no end with IGN. ADS! You pay GS they remove every last ad from thier pages. Thats exactly how it should be. IGN on the other hand still has banner ads all over the place and up until recently pop-ups and what not (though now they give you the option of turning them off). Its really a matter of preference. If you enjoy IGN's writing and the extra stuff like the head to heads then you know what to pay for.
