Great reviews Scott. I too found Jorden’s scene ending freeze fames to be a distracting conceit that added nothing. To the point that it was the one negative thing upon which my wife and I commented.

Regardless, The Good Thief is just a great romp.

Glad that you enjoyed Spellbound so much. The following is not a political statement, but the fact that it did not win ‘Best Documentary’, was the single biggest mistake in this year’s Academy Awards. I expect that this film will be a festival staple for many years.
