Stage construction. We put rolls of 6mm plastic down and filled the stage with 4000 lbs of sand.

Why did you put sand in the stage?

Good question. Since all my speakers and subs are on the stage I didn't want any hollow cavities that could resonate and produce distortion.

Thank you. That is a great idea. Did you think of that all on your own? or did you read or was told about it? I want to learn everything I can about home theater's. Home theater's is my new hobby.
