Stage construction. The stage is built using pressure treated 2x12s and plywood for the curved front edge. Notice the insulation between the stage and the wall. The stage doesn't actually touch the front or side walls. The Romex hanging from the ceiling is for cove lighting. On the upper right of the picture you can see a cooling duct and the smoke detector.
