I still don't get it though, the 1979 Prisoner of Zenda was finally recently released as a MOD DVD yet I can watch it in hi-def on cable - why can't films like these be made available as blu ray MOD's ?
I would also like to see Torn Curtain and Topaz which shows off Albert Whitlock's amazing slight of hand matte paintings.
For Mr. Harris, looking at the screen grabs over at DVDBeaver, one can see that the new edition is slightly darker - can we assume this is more the way the film originally looked as opposed the the previous edition ? Thanks.
Would anyone know if the The Greatest Story Ever Told is just a re-release of the current poor blu-ray or was this remastered and will be better video quality ?
