Some guy at the the digitalbits forums said http://www.dtvcity.com/ shipped players to customers worldwide. I have no idea if this is correct but you could try.
Any chance we will see multi-region players in a few years? Here´s hoping.
Also one noob question. Will US Blu-ray players or HD-DVD players work on a European HD television? I´m thinking about importing a player
Thanks for the update Mike.
I´m very disappointed the player doesn´t play R2 discs since my collection is made of both R1 and R2 discs. I own about 100 R2 discs and 200 R1. As you can see I import most of my DVD´s from the US.

There will be 3 regions. I can't remember what but US, Canada and Japan (and the rest of East Asia minus China) will be clumped into Region 1, Europe & Australia will be Region 2, The rest of the world will be...
I guess there will be region coding for Blu-ray just like DVD. Do you think there is any possibility there will be region free blu-ray players? I would hate if that was not the case. I buy most of my DVDs from the US.
You can definitely count me in for the boycott.
Also one question: Will HD-DVD or Bluray have region coding? I would hate that because I buy most of my DVDs from the USA. Hopefully we will have all region HD players.
