A Hard Days Night and Time Bandits were terrible , probably from dvd masters . Patton from overprocessing.
ya to me it was glaringly odvious , too bad as it spoils the historical aspect of the movie.
I found this movie entertaining enough , my only complaint is the use of modern era derelict buildings as 1918 France for the WW1 battle scenes  , the construction was easy to spot as modern.
I will answer my own question here..... Yes Asia has it released on Feb.14 at $ 17 US in DTS 6.1 This a great movie , anyone who likes Chinese period movies will love this one !!
Has anyone heard of a DVD release date for this movie ? I saw it last night at the movie theater and it was fantastic!!! A must have for sure !!
I have to agree somewhat Andrew, there was not too much new here. I did enjoy it and glad I have it in my collection but if a DTS or different version comes along I'll pass on upgrading. Parts were not too realistic.... heads being cut...
Mine should arrive any day. I'll give a report for those who are undesided.
I'd be very interested in a 4 hour DC as well, if it ever materializes. I often get "double dipped" on films I really like !
Various Retailers are now taking preorders for "Seven Swords" in Region 3. All seem to have the same 153 minute cut of the movie and a 60 minute second disc, but so far I have not seen any boasting DTS sound !
I don't mind switching discs on a 3 hour movie. Gives me time to go to the "can" and get another beer, but ya it's to each there own.
