Wow, I forgot all about the Phelan scenes from S1. That would be a more logical comparison for Sydnor and McNulty in S1. Now that the series is over I really need to pull out the box sets for another viewing.

Great finale. I'm not sure what to make of Marlo's ending. It seems his head has him moving into legitimacy like what Stringer Bell wanted but his heart remains on the street like Avon. Not sure if he was taking in the corner life one...
