DVD Beaver has a review.
I probably would have shelled out for this if it had included the soundtrack, which is unavailable on CD as far as I know.
Since it doesn't, I'll probably pass.
Hi,
I recently acquired (for free) a used Tivo. I think it's a series 2.
I have no interest in paying for a subscription or having it 'phone home' to register itself. I would like to use it like a VCR, manually recording shows. ...
After having a good laugh at Gymkata on DVD, I read the feature that I-mockery.com did about the movie. I noticed they had clips / stills of footage that don't appear on the DVD, but that I vaguely remember seeing on my old VHS copy...
If anyone sees any response from the DVD makers on the 'issues', could you update this thread for those of us that don't get to the other forums? Maybe there will be an official response....
The back cover at DVDEmpire does list a new transfer "remastered in High Definition widescreen" as one of the "New!" features on the disc.
I too would consider upgrading if the subtitle is fixed.
