try a different brand disk or maybe unit is defective.

surely not, haven't heard or known of any dvd recorder that will switch channels for recording purpose.

I haven't heard of any in the +r format, if i come across any i will post here.

I am glad you made this post as i too was about to get xm radio, now i will still hold off a bit longer.

I can't bring my projector in the computer room and garage etc. Tvs can go virtually anywhere and does not cost as much and not a lot of theatre wizardry is needed.

I will pick me up at least two of these cheapos this xmas.

I guess 16:9 screens will give more viewing area and less of the blank screen vs the 4x3, shoot am a rookie at this, will leave to the pros.
