Robert, what is your take on the "initialize or not, after firmware update" thing?

Does anyone know if it's required to choose the initialize option after a firmware update?

I've only tried one HD-DVD in my new A2 and it was Superman Returns. My Pioneer VSX-52TX showed DTS using optical toslink.

I just got the Dec. issue of HT. I haven't read the article yet, but they have a picture of the wrong remote. They have a picture of the 54TX remote. A professional magazine like this should have caught that before going to print.

I'm really enjoying my 52TX. My son and I just got through playing Halo 2 for about 5 hours and it sounded awesome on my 5.1 speaker system. Lots of cool surround effects going on. Sounds great for my movies too. Enjoy.

I pulled the trigger and went ahead and got the 52TX. I first wanted the 1014TX, but could not find one locally. I walked into my local Goodguys tonight and they were selling the 52TX for $599 and today was the last day of that current...

I wish Circuit City would carry them. I have a $100 gift card just itching to be spent. They carry other lower end Pioneer models, so why not the 1014TX?
