I noticed in the dump bin at wal-mart today that there has been a new re-issue of Escape from LA with a new cover. Has anyone picked this up? I'm curious to know if the DVD is 16X9 enhanced. It made no mention of it on the cover.

I'm not sure if they have been released yet but I had read not to long ago that the X Files season sets would be getting a re-release in those thin cases.

I don't have an answer for what caused that problem but I have seen the same sort of thing with the movie "Cujo" and "Firefox" I found the picture to be too distracting so I had to just get rid of the dvds.
