It turns out the red indicator light is not LED, it's neon. Older ATI's like mine had neon and later changed to LED. The flickering is symptomatic of a neon light dying.
ATI will send me an LED switch to rectify the problem.
The tweeters are "blown" and Infinity no longer has the replacements.
How about the polarity as to which tab on the tweeter would accept the narrower spade/lug?
