You can adjust the sub the same way? When I'm running the tones it doesn't even sound like a fart coming out of the sub.

I just set up my Kenwood HTB-504 tonight. I tried to set the speaker levels by ear, but it's near impossible. I plan on getting a sound level meter from Radio Shack or Ebay. Can someone please explain the procedure to set the levels...

The Kenwood VR-507 has DPL2 and Circle Surround, along with DD5.1 and DTS. So what are you getting with the Onkyo that you aren't getting with the Kenwood?
