I tested a limited batch of these and I like the Motorola 700 (small, good battery life, no scratchy sound) and the Plantronics 510 had good sound, but it did not fit behind my ear well. A bunch of others (lots of motorolas) stunk.
With both zones on, the stereo receiver is most likely set for 8 ohm impedance. Your Polks most likely dip low based on Polk's history?
Did you nail in the speaker runs you installed yourself? Nails can cause shorts.

It's not for me, it's a suggestion for SVS owners to give a helping hand to those who only have the entry level drivers.
