Richard, Damn-you stay on top of this stuff. I was there at 11:30 as they were putting them on the shelves (widescreen only, thank you). You must stand at the top top of the stairs waiting for the delivery!
I must corroborate Mr. Kane's opinions on the video and audio quality on this DVD. It is truly exemplary.
I saw jagged aliasing all around Dash's body in some scenes. I checked again for this and could not find any. As a reference, I was watching on a Sharp XV-Z10000 with a Denon DVD-5900.
Coming from a digital source, you would expect Pixar's movies to look stellar. The Incredibles keeps the tradition going in grand style. This DVD looks so amazing..outshining just about any other animation I have seen on DVD thus far....
Although I greatly enjoyed Hero, I would find it very difficult to recommend it as blind buy. It is just too subjective. I find it pretty hard to even compare it to CTHD, even though most would immediately draw comparisons.
It doesn't say anywhere that it is encoded for EX. I checked the box and the DVD itself. I agree with the blueness..and it is a solid film.
