I would also love a Blu-ray. I watch this movie once a year around the Christmas holidays, and it's one of the best of its type.

I rewatched parts of this BD last night. I also noticed some banding in the scene where Jesus meets Martha and Mary after his forty days in the wilderness. I wonder if this is something inherent to the original film, as I know it was...
I did see the banding in the temptation in the desert sequence, and this is far from a perfect transfer. But I do think it's a big improvement over the DVD, and much of the time it looks gorgeous.
What a beautiful Blu-ray. Grace Kelly and the French Riviera are wonderful to behold in high definition.
I'm really looking forward to this one. My personal favorite Scorsese picture.
I placed my first Twilight Time order last week(for DEMETRIUS), and am looking forward to JOURNEY and THE BIG HEAT. If this is the only way to get certain titles on BD, then I'm all for it.
THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD was the worst. Such a beautiful production, it's sad to see it so rendered so poorly on BD.
I'm pretty easy to please, but I have to agree that the transfer on this BD is one of the worst I've ever seen(judging by the scenes I've reviewed on my projector). It would be nice if a remaster would be done similiar to what...
