Thanks so much for the help guys.
Sorry to bump such an old thread! Does anyone know if this set originally came with a Certificate of Authenticity? The reason being I sold mine on eBay recently, and the buyer is claiming that it is missing, but I don't ever recall...
The R2 release sounds like a great set. I'm sure as with Fox's recent release strategy, the 2-Disc Special Edition we get here in the states in a few months will be nearly identical.
If a slipcover is the exact same cover art as the case, I'll throw it out (don't even see the point of it in the first place); If it's a special piece different than the actual cover, I'll keep it (ex., Reservoir Dogs SE).
I wish one of those cover options said "2-Disc Director's Cut/Collector's Edition".
Patrick, check the TV Shows forum. (Admin note - Doh! Posts merged with this one)
GREAT news from DVDAnswers.com...Warner Bros. is releasing The Aviator SE on May 24th! http://www.dvdanswers.com/index.php?...6143&n=1&burl= What's so great about it? It's not a Miramax DVD, so hopefully the transfer...
It's just as everyone predicted, and I'm glad I didn't buy any of these when the single discers came out. But now I can finally add "Man on Fire" to my wish list. I wonder if the simultaneous releases of 2-disc SEs for Kinsey and I...
Quote: And the DVD will be released on May 3rd... I knew there was a reason this thread was in the software forum!
Definitely going to pick this one up...might even scour the import stores to see if there is a DTS version coming out somewhere. The sound on this one should be outstanding, and WB almost always delivers on the PQ.
