I bought an audiobook from Borders Bookstore a while back; I'm now listening to it on my iPod nano. But it doesn't behave quite as I'd expect. I'm looking for some insight.

In iTunes there is an Audiobooks section and in there is my Audiobook. Doubleclicking that coverart opens up the book to show its six files. So far, so good.

On the iPod is where things seem askew. In the Music category is an Audiobooks menu choice. In there is not the single audiobook, but the six individual files. So I can't just click the book to play and resume playing where I left off if I pause it and listen to music in the middle. I have to remember which of the six files I was currently on and specifically play that one. That file resumes in the proper place, just as podcasts do.

Is this normal? I thought that an Audiobook was understood by an iPod as an entity and it would track where I was in its sequence of files.

I really like the audiobook. But it's a minor bother to keep searching through the files to figure out where I left off when I resume listening.
