Projector light going out

I have a Proxima DP9260+ which will only light up for a split second and then goes out. I tried the bulb from a working unit in this projector with the same result. Any ideas?

Not 100% sure, but it sounds like a fault with the machine. Have you taken it back to place of purchase for them to check out?
