First off hello, just found this forum with the help of google!
My old TV broke last month and I had to get a replacement, i picked up a 52 inch Samsung 750 series, a logitech harmony one and a playstation 3 slim to start.
So far i am very happy, i mostly use the TV for 5-8 shows a season, lots of football and to play games on the PS3.
Just wondering what i should consider buying to get the full HT experience? Was thinking getting WIFI dongle for the TV (worth the 100$?), an adapter for the PS3 so i can use the remote with it and maybe one of those samnsung HT in a box sets? Can you recommend one that does not come with a blue ray? Want to use the PS3 for blue ray.
Would also like an apple TV or maybe a slingbox HD but worried about mac compatibilty for the slingbox.
Also is there any use in getting a HTPC if i dont have much of a DVD collection to put on it? I have a scientific atlanta cable box and pretty sure i can't use those in anything other then with the default HD my cable box had no?
Any advice would be appreciated, i can probably blow another 1-2k on this, was hoping my TV would last me till 2011 but since i have to upgrade i might as well do it right!
