Will the Onkyo TX-SR607 be enough to power my speakers?

Sadly, my speakers have become mixed over the years, and I don't get to play them that loudly anymore due to the kids.  I have some tower PSB speakers, then Paradigm Studio CC and ADPs.  I just want to know if you guys think that this receiver will be enough that if I want to turn it up, it can handle it a little bit. I have an Anthem MCA 5 that I no longer use and am selling. I see that many of these receivers don't have any type of pre-out for external amps. 

The onkyo has the HDMI inputs that I need and seems to have a lot of bang for the buck. Thanks for your help!

It should be ok, unless some of the speakers are 4 ohms. The 607 isn't 4 ohm certified.
You would need to step up to the TX-SR707 to power 4 ohm speakers. In the initial setup of the receiver, there's an option to set it up for 4 ohm loads. It says to set it for 4 ohms, if any speakers are 4 ohm.

If all your speakers are 8 ohms, you are good to go, with the 607. The Onkyos are a lot of bang for the buck.

I run Paradigm with a Yamaha receiver thats now a few years old (was top of the line HTR series model from Best Buy).  I am very satisfied with the sound and am able to get pretty loud and clear without any noticable distortion.  I am thinking the Onkyo receiver would deliver similar quality to the Yamaha receiver's under $1000.
