 So, does this have any extras? The laserdisc and DVD had a director's commentary.

And non-awful cover art. Seriously, nobody dressed like that generic kid on the cover in 1980. Do they have to drag down all Fame-related media (including the TV series) down to the level of that remake nobody wanted? Seriously. That's like tying in all other Batman movies to "Catwoman."

I thought the cover for The Music Man was pretty weak, but that at least had the two stars of the movie in it.

 Wow, when I saw the cover I immediately thought the new film, had to look closer at the press release to see it's the original. They badly need to go back to the original artwork.

Interesting, not one of the films I was expecting to see Warners release anytime soon. Glad it will be though. Not sure i'm looking to replace the DVD yet. Guess I better rent before purchase.

I recently sold my old DVD since I read this was coming soon.  Hope this BD release is good -- and yeah, they should do better for the kid in that cover (or simply go w/out a kid there).

Who died in 2003, which would make this the commentary from the old DVD.
