Hi there,

  I just acquired a vintage AKAI Amp AM-M659. It has a few features that I am not up to speed with. It has an option Source Direct and Digital in. I also have a vintage CD CDP-715 Sony player with digital out

Question.

When I use Source Direct am I turning off the internal DAC in the Amp? This is my guess.

What DAC processors are in this rig?
