Hiya everyone I am Justin from Australia, I just wanted to ask a question this is my first day on the forum. Yesterday morning I turned on my Onkyo 906 and started to watch cable tv there was a small pop and at the same time a small white lightning type flash at the back left of the receiver ( i saw it through the grill) I took it to the nominated service/warranty centre yesterday but they are so busy they wont even be looking at it for 10 days! So I am just wanting to ask for some shared experience here. What do you think has happened? was there a short somewhere causing a fuse to blow? (hence the white flash?) Or a faulty fuse? There was no smell, smoke or other signs this had happened I left it unplugged for thirty minutes plugged it back in it, turned it on it seemed  fine got picture via HDMI through upscaled cable. and picture with PS3 just no sound at all tried every diagnostic before residing myself to show up to the warranty service centre. So guys do you reckon it was a fuse? do receivers like this have clear fuses? And would have it blown in time to protect everything else? I am asking because I keep everything very tidy am very carefull with my HT and doubt it was a short out but what if the warranty guys say it is my fault what recourse do I have besides long legal channels. So I have been hypothising all day about it. Ie what may have happened what if they say its my fault how much will it cost "yes I am a worrier" got that from too longer military service lol. So any feedback or ideas would be really greatly appreciated buys or if anyone has had something similar happen to them. I thank you all in advance.

Justin
