i have a panasonic sc-pt670 Home theater in a box.

i was wondering if i can switch the front speakers with the rear speakers since the front speakers come with a stand and the rears don't. i don't want to buy rear stands

i'm not sure if the speakers will be damaged or the sound quality will degrade. of course, the enclosures are different for the front and rear speakers.

thanks for help in advance!!

Since the speakers are part of an HTIB, they should be the same, so it should be ok. Try it and see how they sound switched. It's not going to hurt anything...........

What would happen if he used 8 ohm speakers, and his HTIB was rated at 3 ohms, which most HTIB's are?

That should be ok. But it would be a problem, if it was the other way around............
Since these are the speakers that came with the system, they should be fine.
