 I have a little question:
I  am using twin 10" uber subs from orb audio front and rear, Would you still use Y splitter to get both R and L in the mono line or single input into each, say front is right and left is rear?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

There is no .2 only a .1 no matter if you how many subs you have.  It is how many independent sound channels you have.  Also, there is no left or right for subs, just an LFE/sub output.  Use a Y to split that single output to two and run it to each of your subs.

Which receiver do you have.  Some have 2 or 3 sub pre-outs.  Some of those work independently to allow different trims and distances.  Depending on which model you have, the answer could be different.

PS - I should add that working independently only for setup, they still carry the same signal (as Robert said, .1 only).
