I got to shoot with an $8k 400mm F2.8 VR lens today for about 15 minutes.  I'll never be able to shoot my consumer grade lenses again without wincing!  Once I get em imported and edited I will put a few side by side examples up....  =)

Because it exists! And it shoots beautifully! That's why!

Sam, let me know if you get a chance to shoot with the Leica S2 and it's various lenses.

I feel for you, Sam. I'd love a Canon 500mm f/4L, but it would cost me a lot of money... especially after my wife divorced me.
