50 years ago today the Twilight Zone premiered. It is a shame that there doesn't appear to be any celebration of this on TV today. No marathon on SyFy.  I have the  complete TV series set  and will make a point of watching some favorite episodes. today.

Actually, SyFy did play one of their regular 8 AM to 3 or 4 PM marathons of The Twilight Zone today. It's not a two day marathon but it's better than playing an episode at 5 AM. They even kicked it off with Where Is Everybody.

"Where Is Everybody" will be playing off DVD here at 10pm ET this evening - as I can't be at Ithaca College (seeing George Clayton Johnson's speech) or Binghamton this weekend.

And in coming weeks here, who knows? Perhaps "The Lonely" from an original 16mm print.

It was only a few months ago that I finished (re)watching the last of the 156 off the "Definitive Edition" sets.
