I'm looking to upgrade my HT in the new year, and I'm looking at two options. At present I have an SD Topfield PVR and separate satellite receiver. I could get one of the new Strong satellite/terrestrial receivers which can be a PVR with USB HD and add a Bluray recorder, alternatively the Panasonic HD PVR with built-in Bluray and keep the separate satellite receiver.
I don't know much about the combined satellite/terrestrial receivers - what should I look out for, and how good is a PVR with external drive?
