dorm theater system help/suggestions

I go to purdue and received a 37" 1080p lg tv as a graduation present. The speakers on this tv are garbage (understatement) so I have decided to upgrade. After doing some research I'm looking at a few different things.

Speakers
1. Klipsch HD 500 5.1 system
2. Energy Take 5 pack + Klipsch Synergy Sub-10"(possibly)

Reciever
1.Pioneer 5.1 Channel A/V receiver VSX-819H-K
2. Onkyo 5.1 Channel receiver TX-SR507

I really don't know anything about home theaters, but I want to get something that will be able to move with me next year when I move into a house with some friends. I would love to know your thoughts on these items, and any new suggestions will very appreciated, I am looking for some serious guidance haha.  My budget is around $800 btw. Thanks.

EIther setup looks like a fine choice for the money.  Make sure you listen to the Klipsch before purchasing.  The horn configuration makes for a distinct sound.  Some love it, some hate it.  Find out which you are before you buy.  The sub is something I would plan on upgrading after graduation.  They are usually the weakest part of 5.1 combos, and you can get much more powerful bass from an internet direct company such as SVS or Hsu.
