I'm enjoying the direction the show is taking.  Penny and Leonard's "normalcy" provides the perfect foil for Sheldon, and I think we're seeing more of Raj and Howard each week than we were last season.  It's becoming more of an ensemble show, which I'm really enjoying now that all of the characters have really been established.

I like their Columbus Day- Christopher Columbus movie marathon idea.
Something of which I'd like to do next year :)

The show is definately maintaining its quality, some episodes are better than others but there have been no deinate clunkers, most comedies on tv just rely on unfunny putdowns, its nice to get one that can do more than that.

I agree, the Eye of the Tiger montages were the funniest parts of the show.

Everyone is aware of the real life inspiration for Turbriskefil?

BTW, has anyone had freshly prepared gefilte fish?  Because it is very delicious.  The ones from the jar that look like hairy turds swimming in urine are nothing like real gefilte fish.

Sorry, the jars of turds have made that a permanent "Do not want".

It takes 52 pounds of pressure to rupture an eyeball...

Liked them too, though they went to the well once too often using it at the very end again.

I can't say Will Wheaton's name without pronouncing it like Stewie on Family Guy with an almost whistle on the 'W's lol.

Hilarious episode tonight.

Wolowitz's date was a cutie.

I enjoyed it, but my wife really rolled her eyes when I geeked out and started quoting Star Trek 2 along with Sheldon.  Good thing this show wasn't on when we were dating!

Sheldon seemed a tad bit off to me in this episode. It was funny as hell, but for some reason Sheldon seemed odd. I laughed every time he said Wil Wheatons name. I definitely thought Howard and Penny's friend were cute together. Good episode.

Fantastic episode.

I loved the exchange between Howard and his date talking about how dysfunctional their relationships were with their mothers.

Yup, some shows are taking this week off as November Sweeps month starts next week, plus the World Series doesn't help things later this week for other shows this week.

I agree it wasn't the best comedic-wise, but given I'm from Nebraska and a Cornhuskers football fan, I was very pleased....

although REAL NU fans wouldn't be so subdued watching a game, especially against Oklahoma!!

I found Sheldon's psychosis from his parents arguing to be a bit disturbing for a sitcom.

Maybe a little, but it's natural to get uncomfortable listening to two people arguing, Sheldon, as usual, took it to the extreme.

My first compulsion in the presence of fighting is to remove myself from the room as well.

Eh, least enjoyable episode for me in a long time.  If I wanted uncomfortable tension, I would have watched The Office instead.  My guess is the writers felt like they needed a "relationship test" episode for Leonard and Penny.  They should have skipped it.  I didn't find either character's reaction to the situation particularly genuine.  Leonard's "dickiness" seemed to be amped up a bit too high, and Penny's indifference seemed a bit skewed, too.

I especially didn't like that they carried the fighting theme through to Raj and Howard - I prefer the episodes in which they provide counter-programming to Leonard/Penny/Sheldon.

Hopefully, they'll rebound next week.  Still my favorite show on Monday nights.

I will say this, though, this was a mean spirited episode, I wanted to stick my head in the screen and say "Come on guys don't fight.".

I am not enjoying the whole Leonard and Penny thing at all. I just can't seem to get into their relationship. I thought the whole fight thing was forced and seemed really dumb, because honestly, if Penny did have an ex sleeping on her couch, Leonard is such a push over and cannot believe Penny is with him in the first place, he would never have said anything to her about his feelings on it. He wouldn't want to rock the boat.

Now Sheldons weirdness with fights was actually funny to me. I love the facial expressions he makes when he is getting fight overload. He is very visually funny. As for the fighting spilling over into Howard and Raj, that is pretty typical of them any way. I'd take them actually having a relationship with eachother over this stupid Leonard and Penny thing.

Not the best episode, but I still laughed and enjoyed it.

I think it's one of those things where the idea of Leonard and Penny together is more endearing then them actually being together.

There's no spark, no charm with them being together because Leonard's goal has been reached, he's won Penny over, the pursuit is over.

I actually hope they break-up and go back to being friends, if Ross and Rachel could do it on Friends they can do it too.

As someone who really dislikes uncomfortable tension/arguing, Leonard and Penny fighting didn't bother me, and I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season.  Sheldon's outburst in the comic book store was the highlight, of course, but I was laughing throughout the episode.

I've been pleasantly surprised with how the Leonard and Penny relationship hasn't detracted from the show - for me, at least.  They're setting Leonard up to be the straight man of the group, and that works.

Wish they'd back off the Raj-Howard pseudo-gay relationship some, but it lead to some nice laughs in this one.

Tonights ep was a very good one, I think the producers are smartly setting up the Penny-Sheldon relationshio..no it will never be a sexual one, but the outcome of their pairing is always very funny. And the boys getting stoned off one old teacher's cookie batch was great. Even raj was eating the briskit.

Great episode this week, we actually got to see ((GASP)) Sheldon drive! And even more amazing we got to see Penny actually get him to do it lol.

Ah yes, Sheldon copped a feel from Penny, unintentional yes but he should savor that, it's the most action he'll get the entire series I bet lol.

I don't know about anyone else but I found Penny even more attractive than usual when she was being all wounded and vulnerable, plus, painkillers + Penny = sexy.
