I wonder who will take the "top spot" in this year's memorial segment.
Usually they start with someone big, but save the biggest star for the end.
At first I thought that Farrah Fawcett should lead the list and Bea Arthur should end it, but then Walter Cronkite passed away and I think it should start with Bea Arthur and end with Farrah Fawcett then Walter Cronkite.
Unfortunately, I suspect that once again Farrah Fawcett will get screwed-over and they will downgrade the other TV stars to give the top spot to Michael Jackson. They always try to cram in someone from a different medium in order to increase the 'star power', usually by digging up some old TV play from the 1950s that a Movie Star has done.
And would it be inappropriate to include two seconds of a title card for The Guiding Light?
