Melrose Place (2009) - season 1

The pilot episode of the new Melrose Place series on the CW is airing at 9 p.m. EDT tonight.

4 of the original cast members are returning to the show (Thomas Calabro, Josie Bisset, Daphne Zuniga, and Laura Leighton).

The rest of the cast is some eye candy for male and female viewers alike, as the next generation of mid-20's characters live at Melrose Place.  Amongst the new cast: Katie Cassidy, Taryn Manning, Jenna Dewan, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Jessica Lucas, Stephanie Jacobsen, Michael Rady, Colin Egglesfield, and Shaun Sipos.

It airs after the season 2 premiere of 90210 tonight.

I agree. Lots of Male and Female eye candy. Decent enough. I will wait to see more.

I keep waiting for someone to try and reboot "Dallas" or "Falcon Crest" basedon how this is going.

Ugh! That was horrible. So horrible I could not even finish watching it.

The 2nd episode was sort of bad in how they handled the flashbacks (very cheesy music and editing), I was not all that interested in the Auggie backstory.  It just seems like they are blowing their wad too soon with all of the revelations.  The only one who entertains me is the Ella character.  The jealousy aspect between Jonah and Riley is already played out and uninvolving.

So, can't say I'm all that taken with this revamp just yet.
