I just received this in the mail today and, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work right with the PS3 slim. It apparently works with the older models. If you have an older model then this will work like a charm. It's only been used for a few hours. I'm selling it for $55 shipped. PayPal and shipping to the continental US only. Thanks.
