Star Trek III Question

My family and I are currently living in an apartment, so I'm not able to use my full HT setup for BD playback. I'm currently using my HP laptop with BD-ROM Multi-Drive to view Blus. I noticed a video noise issue with certain scenes featuring the Excelssior. The saucer support and the grid work on the warp nacelles from time to time show a moire effect. Question: Does this aftifact appear on a regular HD-display? Or is it my computer? I checked out the same scenes on my PS3 sending a downrezzed signal over component to my SD TV. I didn't notice this issue, but I can't trust my display since it's not 1080p. Appreciate any and all feedback.

There are three things I can't stand: 1) Intolerance; and 2) People who can't count.

I don't have the disc in question, but unless the native resolution (pixel grid) on your laptop matches the resolution of the video displayed, there's always the possibility that this will happen on an LCD screen.
