Speaker cables for new Home Theatre

Hi all,

I'm just about to start cabling up my new home theatre room. I estimate that the longest speaker cable I need will be about 13-14metres (about 43-47ft).

For this length of cable, is 16AWG cable sufficient, or should I go for 12AWG?

Any advice would be great.

I would at a minimum use 14.  If you can swing 12 go for it.
